5 Ways To Win

This is an excerpt titled "An Valuable Lesson From My Trip To Robert Kiyosaki's Office..." by Mike Dillard's Founder of Magnet Sponsoring. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did...

This is possibly the most important email I’ve ever written, so please read it carefully...
Over the past few months, I’ve been helping Robert Kiyosaki's team with their online marketing strategies, and just got back from a trip to his Phoenix office.
The picture to my right is my friend John who handles the web work for Robert, and he'll be a guest speaker at the Traffic Formula LIVE event here in Austin this month.

It’s probably safe to assume that you’ve read a copy of this Best Seller, “Rich Dad, Poor Dad”.

It’s funny how a few words on paper can start a global movement, which is exactly what’s happened, with over 29,000,000 copies of his books being sold world-wide.
I’ve definitely learned a lot from Robert, and it’s been a real privilege to work with he and his team.

What I’d like to share with you now is one of the most valuable insights I’ve gained from my time with Robert. Please take the time to read this email today, because I can promise that you’ll never look at yourself the same way again once you do.

Have you ever thought about the word “winning”, and what it means to you?

For most of us, the word “winning”, is a very simple concept. You create a goal, and when you achieve it, you’ve won.

Well, there’s actually much more to it then that, because your subconscious mind has it’s own definition for “winning”, and whether you like it or not, you and your entire life are run by this little bugger.

If your subconscious doesn’t want you to “win” when it comes to wealth and money, you’re not going to. Period.

By definition, your subconscious thoughts and its agenda for your life are hidden from you, unless you’ve trained yourself to communicate with it.

If you don’t know what its definition of “winning” is for you right now, how can you ever move forward? And that’s the point on this letter… We’re going to find out what “winning” means to your subconscious right now…

There are 5 ways for you to win...

1: You win when you’re comfortable. This person’s primary goal is to just go through life as comfortably as possible. They don’t want stress. They don’t want to be pushed or challenged. They don’t like conflict. The just want to go through life on cruise control, hanging out with their friends, and having a good time. Everything they do is designed to support their pursuit of comfort.

This is your average, life-long employee who’s more than happy to have a safe, stable, comfortable job.

If you push this person away from that goal, and challenge them or their routine lifestyle, watch out.

2: You win by being liked. This person’s primary goal in life is to be liked by others. They want acceptance from everyone, and will do just about anything to reach that goal. They’d rather be liked, than be right or wrong.

When you put someone like this in a leadership role, the business will usually fail because they won’t be willing to make hard decisions that would anger someone. They would try to please everyone all the time because their ultimate motivation is to be liked by others.

3: You win by being right. This person is usually an expert in a specific field like a professor, lawyer, or a wife. (Just kidding ladies! ?). People who win by being right, don’t accept criticism and aren’t open to new ideas.

They tend to reach a glass ceiling when it comes to money, their career, and relationships, because they can’t accept their short-comings in order to move past them and achieve personal growth. Arguing with this person never works because they’ll always find a way to prove you wrong, even if it means sabotaging your company in the process.
In order to win, this person must be right.

4: You win by winning. This person is an achiever. Their primary motivation is to win. They are very competitive, and will do whatever it takes to win. They won’t quit, and they’ll constantly push themselves to gain the edge they need.

This category describes all successful entrepreneurs and athletes. Winning is their reward, and on the dark side, some of them will go too far and compromise their integrity in order to do so. Key Lay of Enron is a great example.

This type of person doesn’t care if others don’t like them, and they welcome discomfort because it provides them with new opportunities to win.

This is how Robert wins, and looking at my past, this is how I win... Two State Championships in cycling. The #1 marketing system in the industry. Millionaire before 30. I win, by winning. I am constantly evaluating and improving myself, and will do whatever it takes, (with integrity), to be the best. Period.

5: You win by losing. This person wins by being a victim. They want sympathy from others or their spouse. Just when things start to get better, they will sabotage themselves, and say, “I knew it wouldn’t work”, giving them their victory once again.

There lives are always filled with problems because they don’t win unless they lose, so they create circumstances and excuses that help them fulfill that destiny like, “Your book won’t teach me anything new. I don’t have the money. This is just another scam. I’ll give it a try…”

Now if you’re like me when I was exposed to this, you’re taking a long hard look at your life right now.

There are people who are not wealthy because they want to be comfortable. There are people who are not healthy because they want to be comfortable. There are people who are stuck in the same job without a promotion for 10 years because they want to be liked. There are people who are addicted to struggle because they win by losing.

And most likely, you see a little of yourself in each of these categories.I know I do, but what’s important to remember, is that winning is a continuous process that is brought to an end once you’ve won, which is an event.

As soon as you’ve “won”, the process starts all over again.

This is why you tend to feel lost or unfulfilled after you achieve a goal. I know that once Magnetic Sponsoring became the #1 marketing system in the industry, I got lazy for a year. I had won and didn’t know what to do next. I was a winner without a goal, so comfort took its place.

Once I was inspired by a new goal, my entire focus went back to “winning”, which is where I am right now.

I don’t know where you are at this moment in your life, but I do know this… Entrepreneurs win by winning, and they’ll do whatever it takes to fulfill that subconscious desire.

If your subconscious’ desire is to REALLY “win” in networking or your home business right now, then you should already have copies of Magnetic Sponsoring and our other courses on your desk because they are physical representations of your true desire.

If you don’t, then you need to take a long hard look in the mirror and ask yourself why? Do you really want to “win” in this industry, or are you after something else…?If you REALLY want to “win” in this industry, but have recognized that you’re not where you need to be today thanks to this email, the choice is yours.

You are not a victim or a prisoner of your subconscious. You can control it. You can train it to achieve new goals.

You have complete power over every aspect of your life and you can reinvent yourself, and the way you win at any time, but it’s a process that will require complete dedication.

I hope you have the courage, and when you’re TRULY ready to win in networking, Magnetic Sponsoring will find a way onto your desk...
Best,

Mike Dillard

Four Facts Every New Network Marketer Must Know

Success in any internet marketing adventure is not necessarily dependant on the tried and true characteristics that have marred the image of the industry. Pushiness and ruthless networking are actually not the hallmarks of network marketing that its detractors would have you believe they are. Instead, there are facets and aspects to successful MLM that are usually not addressed by those who might only have a cursory understanding of the industry.

As a matter of fact, there are four facts every new network marketer must know.1. Success or failure depends on the product you will be representing. Interestingly, there is no amount of book knowledge that will make up for hands on sales experience that can give you that innate sense of experience which will lead you to the product that is going to be a crowd pleaser for many months or years to come, and the explosively marketed fad that will be around for a holiday season and then thereafter become all but forgotten. While studying market trends and consumer behavior on paper will help, only actual sales experience will provide the familiarity with the way consumers think through purchases that can lead you to choose a MLM product which will be around for the long.2. Never choose a product that is only replaced on a limited basis. As odd as it may sound, stay away from items carrying lifetime guarantees. Consumers love them, but if you consider that the average well made Sears tool will not break no matter how badly you treat it, you can quickly see how there is only a limited amount of repeat business that you will enjoy. In MLM this might refer to exercise equipment or high end merchandise that is too expensive to purchase twice. 3. Pick your MLM Company with care. Forego the hype and instead invest some time in solid research. If the company has been around for a while, you will have a no-nonsense opportunity to chart the beginning of the company and also its growth. Stay away from companies that are in the decline. Similarly, and perhaps this may appear odd, stay away from companies that are experiencing an unprecedented spike of growth. This is just as detrimental to a MLM business as decline because the exiting network rarely is able to compensate for the spike in demand. 4. Last but not least, profit from the experience of the other network marketers. This kind of information may be found online at forums dedicated to marketers who want to share their experiences. Learn from these individuals and understand their reasoning. While they may be incorrect, it pays to understand how they may have made an erroneous decision as this will train you to not follow in their footsteps.

Even as those four facts every new network marketer must know appear to make a lot of common sense, they also showcase that there is a lot more to successful MLM than just selling and setting up a down line. Meticulous planning, learning from the experiences of others, and also continuously educating yourself about market changes and consumer behavior are vital components in the quest for profitability and overall business success.

Feeling Overwhelmed?

By: Bob Keefe

Have you've ever felt like success has been out of your reach because you're completely overwhelmed? I have found that when people struggle to create their first biz it's because they are confused and,

A confused mind does nothing!

That just might be the single most important sentence you'll ever read. I suggest you read it again. In fact, you might want to write it down and tape it to your computer so you see it all the time. One of the biggest problems we face in getting starting is controlling the "overwhelm" of too much info and not having a clear cut game plan that works for you.

I honestly believe that most Guru's think the majority of their subscriber's are just plain lazy because they never get started...I completely disagree 100%, with that, in fact I've observed just the opposite. In fact most people are actually working much harder than they actallly need to!

It's like you are racing at a 100 miles an hour... only to discover that you are stuck going around and around on a race track in never-ending circles instead of going down the road that will take you where you want to go.

Take that same energy and stop running in circles and you'll be shocked how quick and easily you can make your every dream become a reality.

If you feel like you've been too busy "chasing your tail" it's not necessarily your fault. Internet marketing can be a daunting task to the beginner. Running your own home based business is not for the faint at heart. You just need a little clarity, direction and focus and I think you'll find the success you want is actually closer than you imagined.

Remember "a confused mind does nothing?" Take a second and really give that some thought. I'll bet you'll realize that it has shown up in your life more than once. It's all about having a simple and clear cut game plan, broken down in simple step-by-step pieces. Anyone can learn to do anything if the steps are clear and small enough so you can crawl before you are expected to walk or run.

In business I find that people tend to set their first goals on things that are too far away from their current situation and because of that they start out behind the 8-Ball and are completely overwhelmed before they ever get going.

It's essential to get a taste of success as quickly as possible. A SMALL taste is all it takes. Set your sights on one small piece of the puzzle at a time. Complete that one task before even thinking about what's next. The internet is so full of distractions that anyone can lose their focus. Don't let that happen to you!

Focusing on a small obtainable goal that you believe is possible keeps you from getting too overwhelmed. Having a very clear cut blueprint to follow so you can actually get to that small goal fast is very important.

That being said here is my advice to anyone wanting to succeed in internet marketing and/or starting a home based business. first, have your end result clearly defined (this will be done in the goal setting process.) Second, pick one task at a time, outline it and do it. Don't allow distractions to get in the way. Start with something small and atainable and complete it.

This simple series of baby steps, when applied to each step along the way, will get you moving in the right direction and help keep you focused on the light at the end of the tunnel, making money online.

Finding The Right Home Based Business May Require Research

There are numerous people that have the desire to start their own home business and many have the talent to make it work. But what they lack is the right idea that will work for them while they work at home. They may be too busy thinking about the prospect of working at home without giving a lot of thought as to what they want to do.

If you go online and search for home business ideas you will find a lot of people offering to send you ideas, for a price. Not to say that all of them are not totally honest about what you buy, but most of the ideas they are offering can be found on your own for free. What you will be paying for is a list of companies they have compiled as a result of their own search, some of while may no longer be valid.

Basically, how you search will also help determine the type of results you get back. If you search for home based business, for instance you will likely be inundated with opportunities in the multilevel marketing industry. Some of those offers may even be legitimate, but if selling products and recruiting for another company is not your idea of a home business, you will want to keep searching.

The best advice is to leave the words home based business and work at home out of your search criteria. If you are an accountant, simply look for accounting and then seek out companies that offer telecommuting. Instead of focusing on the home business aspect you should focus on what the job is you will be doing at home. This can lead to quality leads to pursue in seeking a home-based business opportunity. You may even want to check with some of your personal contacts or others in a similar business to find out what the market is like for your skills.

While competitors may not be willing to share their customers, or a lot of information, if you contact potential customers to determine how their wait is to see their current accountant, it may be an indication that business is really good and there may be enough business for another one in the same town.

However, most people looking for a home-based business are wanting to cash in on the internet business opportunities where the entire globe can be the market. Sales of a quality product or service at a reasonable cost is always sought on the internet and many companies offer drop-ship services allowing you to sell the product and the company will process all the orders, handle billing and shipping and send you the profit.

But, there are some companies out there that are different, if you want to learn the Truth be sure to pick "It's Only Easy If You Know The Truth... Exposing The Lies, Myths And Hype To Help You Finally Succeed Online!"

One of the challenges with many of these companies is the initial price of the merchandise and the shipping costs, leaving you with a minimal profit margin. You would have to be aware of the hot products of the day, the trends that indicate future hot markets and get them out for sale at the start of the fad. By staying on top of this business and dealing with a reputable warehouse, you can quickly build and grow your business.

Hopefully, this provides some direction...
