5 Ways To Win

This is an excerpt titled "An Valuable Lesson From My Trip To Robert Kiyosaki's Office..." by Mike Dillard's Founder of Magnet Sponsoring. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did...

This is possibly the most important email I’ve ever written, so please read it carefully...
Over the past few months, I’ve been helping Robert Kiyosaki's team with their online marketing strategies, and just got back from a trip to his Phoenix office.
The picture to my right is my friend John who handles the web work for Robert, and he'll be a guest speaker at the Traffic Formula LIVE event here in Austin this month.

It’s probably safe to assume that you’ve read a copy of this Best Seller, “Rich Dad, Poor Dad”.

It’s funny how a few words on paper can start a global movement, which is exactly what’s happened, with over 29,000,000 copies of his books being sold world-wide.
I’ve definitely learned a lot from Robert, and it’s been a real privilege to work with he and his team.

What I’d like to share with you now is one of the most valuable insights I’ve gained from my time with Robert. Please take the time to read this email today, because I can promise that you’ll never look at yourself the same way again once you do.

Have you ever thought about the word “winning”, and what it means to you?

For most of us, the word “winning”, is a very simple concept. You create a goal, and when you achieve it, you’ve won.

Well, there’s actually much more to it then that, because your subconscious mind has it’s own definition for “winning”, and whether you like it or not, you and your entire life are run by this little bugger.

If your subconscious doesn’t want you to “win” when it comes to wealth and money, you’re not going to. Period.

By definition, your subconscious thoughts and its agenda for your life are hidden from you, unless you’ve trained yourself to communicate with it.

If you don’t know what its definition of “winning” is for you right now, how can you ever move forward? And that’s the point on this letter… We’re going to find out what “winning” means to your subconscious right now…

There are 5 ways for you to win...

1: You win when you’re comfortable. This person’s primary goal is to just go through life as comfortably as possible. They don’t want stress. They don’t want to be pushed or challenged. They don’t like conflict. The just want to go through life on cruise control, hanging out with their friends, and having a good time. Everything they do is designed to support their pursuit of comfort.

This is your average, life-long employee who’s more than happy to have a safe, stable, comfortable job.

If you push this person away from that goal, and challenge them or their routine lifestyle, watch out.

2: You win by being liked. This person’s primary goal in life is to be liked by others. They want acceptance from everyone, and will do just about anything to reach that goal. They’d rather be liked, than be right or wrong.

When you put someone like this in a leadership role, the business will usually fail because they won’t be willing to make hard decisions that would anger someone. They would try to please everyone all the time because their ultimate motivation is to be liked by others.

3: You win by being right. This person is usually an expert in a specific field like a professor, lawyer, or a wife. (Just kidding ladies! ?). People who win by being right, don’t accept criticism and aren’t open to new ideas.

They tend to reach a glass ceiling when it comes to money, their career, and relationships, because they can’t accept their short-comings in order to move past them and achieve personal growth. Arguing with this person never works because they’ll always find a way to prove you wrong, even if it means sabotaging your company in the process.
In order to win, this person must be right.

4: You win by winning. This person is an achiever. Their primary motivation is to win. They are very competitive, and will do whatever it takes to win. They won’t quit, and they’ll constantly push themselves to gain the edge they need.

This category describes all successful entrepreneurs and athletes. Winning is their reward, and on the dark side, some of them will go too far and compromise their integrity in order to do so. Key Lay of Enron is a great example.

This type of person doesn’t care if others don’t like them, and they welcome discomfort because it provides them with new opportunities to win.

This is how Robert wins, and looking at my past, this is how I win... Two State Championships in cycling. The #1 marketing system in the industry. Millionaire before 30. I win, by winning. I am constantly evaluating and improving myself, and will do whatever it takes, (with integrity), to be the best. Period.

5: You win by losing. This person wins by being a victim. They want sympathy from others or their spouse. Just when things start to get better, they will sabotage themselves, and say, “I knew it wouldn’t work”, giving them their victory once again.

There lives are always filled with problems because they don’t win unless they lose, so they create circumstances and excuses that help them fulfill that destiny like, “Your book won’t teach me anything new. I don’t have the money. This is just another scam. I’ll give it a try…”

Now if you’re like me when I was exposed to this, you’re taking a long hard look at your life right now.

There are people who are not wealthy because they want to be comfortable. There are people who are not healthy because they want to be comfortable. There are people who are stuck in the same job without a promotion for 10 years because they want to be liked. There are people who are addicted to struggle because they win by losing.

And most likely, you see a little of yourself in each of these categories.I know I do, but what’s important to remember, is that winning is a continuous process that is brought to an end once you’ve won, which is an event.

As soon as you’ve “won”, the process starts all over again.

This is why you tend to feel lost or unfulfilled after you achieve a goal. I know that once Magnetic Sponsoring became the #1 marketing system in the industry, I got lazy for a year. I had won and didn’t know what to do next. I was a winner without a goal, so comfort took its place.

Once I was inspired by a new goal, my entire focus went back to “winning”, which is where I am right now.

I don’t know where you are at this moment in your life, but I do know this… Entrepreneurs win by winning, and they’ll do whatever it takes to fulfill that subconscious desire.

If your subconscious’ desire is to REALLY “win” in networking or your home business right now, then you should already have copies of Magnetic Sponsoring and our other courses on your desk because they are physical representations of your true desire.

If you don’t, then you need to take a long hard look in the mirror and ask yourself why? Do you really want to “win” in this industry, or are you after something else…?If you REALLY want to “win” in this industry, but have recognized that you’re not where you need to be today thanks to this email, the choice is yours.

You are not a victim or a prisoner of your subconscious. You can control it. You can train it to achieve new goals.

You have complete power over every aspect of your life and you can reinvent yourself, and the way you win at any time, but it’s a process that will require complete dedication.

I hope you have the courage, and when you’re TRULY ready to win in networking, Magnetic Sponsoring will find a way onto your desk...
Best,

Mike Dillard

Top 10 Habits of the Successful Internet Marketer

It doesn't matter what type of online business you are starting or operating. You need to focus on Internet marketing strategies to make your business a success. Successful Internet marketers use a combination of Internet marketing tools to promote their businesses.

The methods you use to market your products or services will attract more potential buyers to your site. Here are 10 successful Internet marketing habits for you to implement into your promotional efforts.

SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

Search engine optimization involves the volume and quality of traffic that visits your website. Through the use of keyword optimization on all of your pages, you can improve your rankings on the search engines. It is important to determine which words would most likely be used by the average person in finding products or services like the ones you offer. These words should be strategically placed throughout the content on your website pages.

Article Marketing

The use of articles as an Internet marketing tool is a wise and helpful choice for any web-based business. Publication of articles that provide information about the type of product or service you offer gives consumers something useful for free. It also gets your name and your business name out there as an expert on the subject.

Niche Marketing

Niche marketing concentrates on products and services that are not a typical part of the mainstream market. As an Internet marketing tool, niche marketing can help you target a smaller, more focused group of potential customers that are specifically searching for what you offer.

Affiliate Marketing

This is a useful Internet marketing solution that allows you to offer a benefit to other webmasters. The object is for them to advertise your website on their own site. For each potential buyer they direct to your site, they are rewarded through whatever means you have discussed.

Blog Marketing

Another useful Internet marketing tool is blog marketing. Either daily or weekly, you post information about a certain topic related to your business. This method will build your reputation as an expert on the subject and bring more traffic to your website.
Internet marketing is a fundamental part of any successful online business. Through these methods you can begin building a strong reputation for yourself and your business on the Web. Focusing on some other Internet marketing tools will bring additional traffic to your website.

RSS Feeds

These feeds are posted on other websites that attract visitors interested in the products or services you offer. They link to articles or pages on your website.

Pay Per Click

You allow other businesses to post links to their sites from your site. Each time a visitor clicks on their link, you earn money. This increases cash flow and helps to associate your business with other, better known ones.

Social Networking

Join online communities that share interests in the types of products or services you offer. You can often post links, blogs and web pages on these networks. This connects you to a community of potential buyers who are already interested in what you have to offer.

Link Building

Any promotional material you offer online should have hyperlinks that take the reader directly to your website. With hyperlinks throughout the piece, you increase the number of chances that the reader will visit your website.

Free Offers

Another way to attract traffic to your website is to offer a free, valuable gift. The offer can be as simple as a free newsletter or informational articles readers can link to. If the reader finds the free item useful, they will likely return or refer others to your site.

These are some of the smartest and easiest methods to develop good Internet marketing habits. It is said that about 60% of a business owner's time is spent on marketing. If this is true, then focusing on the types of Internet marketing tools that will bring you repeat business makes the best use of your time.

10 Great Summer Vacation Tips

Whether you are traveling by plane, train or automobile, summer vacations are the perfect opportunity to get away to a favourite spot or experience new sights and adventures. Most importantly, it is a time to be together and enjoy each other’s company. If however, your trip is not planned correctly, you will spend your vacation stressed out! So regardless if you are packing up the kids in the back of the van or traveling solo to exotic destinations, here are some travel tips to make this summer vacation your best one yet:
Pack Right
Easier said than done right? Packing is a fine balance of bringing what you really need without taking too much. How do you do it? Planning ahead and having a really good list. Bring anything you absolutely must have, bring co-ordinated clothing you can mix and match and make sure to have a list prepared well in advance so you don’t forget anything. Don’t bring too much of anything, you will not wear six pairs of shoes I promise you, and don’t bring anything that can be bought along the way if you really need it.

Have Plenty of Sun Screen, Hats and Sunglasses
The sun is stronger in the summer time and UV rays keep increasing. There is nothing worse then getting sunburned on the first few days of your summer vacation and spending the rest of it uncomfortable. Sun protection is more important now then ever before.

Be Flexible
Leave a little wiggle room in your plans. Give yourself plenty of time for delayed flights and traffic jams. Even if you do not get an opportunity to do something as planned, enjoyable rest stops or detours can be used to explore and can end up being even more memorable than the planned stops.

Bring A Camera
This one sounds obvious I know, but you would be surprised how many people either forget to bring the camera or the extra batteries or the memory card (in the old days it used to be the film) etc. Prepare your camera gear in advance so you have it ready to go, you do not want to miss that great sunset or your child’s first encounter with the dolphin.

Keep The Kids Amused
If you are traveling with kids, unless you love to hear “Are we there yet?” over and over, make sure they have enough to stay amused. Have them pack their own travel bags with things they love in order to keep themselves occupied during the trip on the plane or in the car. You can also find inexpensive travel games in stores, or you can play your own such as "I Spy" or the license plate game.

Be Prepared For Rain or Cooler Weather
There is nothing worse then packing t-shirts and shorts only to be hit with a cool spell and spending your summer vacation trying to stay dry and warm. Even if you are traveling to a hot desert, be prepared with basic rain gear and a warm jacket.

Be Ready For An Emergency
If traveling by car keep an emergency kit handy that includes jumper cables, basic hand tools, flares or reflective warning triangles, a first aid kit, a flashlight with fresh batteries, and a cell phone if possible.

What Not To Do On Your Fabulous Summer Vacation
There are a few things you should also not do in order to have a great summer vacation. First, try to avoid traveling during peak times, this means long weekends in the summer, unless you are a sucker for punishment. It also means rush hours in the city if you are driving, try to plan your time around these hours.

Don’t break the bank. A recent Expedia survey found that 57 percent of travelers blow their vacation budgets on food and drinks. Ways to get around this include staying at all inclusive resorts and booking rooms with a kitchenette. Before you visit a particular city, check out what activities are free to do there. Especially for kids, there may be lots of parks, museums or just interesting things to look at that will not cost anything.

But the most important tip for having a great summer vacation?
Just relax and don’t overdue it. You are on vacation, don’t plan too much into a short amount of time. Enjoy yourself and the glorious summer days and nights, as we all know, they go by way to fast.

3 Necessary Tools for the High Rolling Affiliate Marketer

What does it take to become a successful Affiliate Marketer? What are the ingredients of an affiliate marketing success story? Is there a shortcut to Affiliate Marketing glory? All these questions play around in the minds of affiliate marketers who want to make it big in this business. Although affiliate marketing is touted as one of the easiest and most effective ways to earn money online, it is not as easy as it sounds. The wise affiliate marketer plans every action and executes it the best way he can. He should also maximize the potential to earn by utilizing the right tools necessary for a successful Affiliate Marketing business. We have consulted some of the most successful affiliate marketers in the business and below are the top three necessary tools for a successful affiliate marketing business.

Important Tool #1: Your Own Website

The most important and indispensable tool in Affiliate Marketing is your own website. The first step in any successful affiliate marketing business is building a good, credible and professional looking website. Your website is the jump off point of all your marketing efforts. Thus, you must first build a user-friendly website, which will appeal to your prospects and encourage them to click on the links to the products and service you are promoting and make a purchase. Therefore, you must first concentrate your efforts in building a website that will cater to what your prospects need.

The most important thing you should consider is that almost all web users go online to look for information, not necessarily to go and buy something. Above all else, make your website full of original, relevant and useful content. People will love articles that are appealing and helpful. Keep in mind that, in the internet, content is still king and good quality content will not only build your credibility, it can also help you achieve a higher search engine ranking. By posting relevant and useful articles, you establish yourself as a credible expert in the field, making you a more trustworthy endorser of the product or service you promote. Establishing a good reputation is a good step in building up a loyal consumer base.

Important Tool #2: Incentives

Competition is extremely tight in the internet world. You must always be one-step ahead of your rivals to ensure that you capture a significant share of your target market. Therefore, you must use every possible means to encourage people not only to visit your site but also to click and proceed to the websites of the products and services you are promoting. Building an opt-in email list is one of the best ways to gather prospects. Offer a newsletter or an e-zine. Better yet, offer incentives to your prospects to encourage them to subscribe to your newsletters. You can present free softwares, access to exclusive services and other freebies that will be helpful to your prospects.

Important Tool #3: Link Popularity

The importance of driving highly targeted traffic to your website cannot be emphasized enough. The all-important web traffic is at the top of the list of the most important entities in the internet world. Attracting people to your site should be the first step you should carry out. Do everything to achieve a high search engine ranking. Link Popularity is one of the factors that search engines use to determine search engine rankings. Therefore, to enhance your link popularity, you must launch an aggressive reciprocal link campaign.

One of the best ways to do this – at no cost at all – is by submitting articles, with your website's link at the resource box, to e-zines and free article sites. You will not only gain exposure, you will also have the opportunity to advertise for free, just include a link back to your site. The more sites you submit your articles to, the better your link popularity is. Make your articles original, relevant and useful so that more websites will pick it up and post it.

These are but three of the many tools that an affiliate marketer can use to maximize earning potential. The possibilities are endless and are limited only by your imagination, creativity, resourcefulness and determination. You can always explore other ideas and adapt other strategies, which you think might help you become a high rolling affiliate marketer.

To Your Success,

Rich Dabney

Network Marketing Offers Home Based Business Opportunities

Persons looking for another line of work or just the chance to earn some supplemental income may want to consider network marketing as a home based business. While there are many new scam programs on the internet every day, there are also some quality opportunities to earn extra money. Remember there is a difference between home based businesses and work at home businesses, but most will require some customer contact to make it work for you.
Before the internet, there were many home based businesses geared towards people who wanted to earn extra money but needed a flexible schedule, allowing them to continue working their full-time job or work around the schedules of other family members. Jewelry and makeup sales as well as home products were available as a home-based business as the participants went to others’ homes to peddle their wares. Many trade people had an office in their home but worked in the homes of others.

For the people holding so-called parties in other people’s homes, they were deeply involved in network marketing, adding people to their network every time they performed a demonstration. Whether the other attendees at the party actually made a purchase was not as important as them learning more about the products being sold and having the seed planted to host their own party.

The incentive to the customer was free merchandise. Usually depending on the amount of the total sales at the party, the hostess received free merchandise. The business owner could then talk to others about earning free merchandise, or better yet, buying everything at wholesale if they became an authorized distributor, working under you. You offered to train them and help them with their first few parties, offering to split the commission with them and once they developed their own network you could also receive a small commission on their sales.
Many of these party-plan programs ran successfully and unencumbered for many years with some still going strong today. While there were not called multilevel marketing companies at that time that is exactly what they were. Today, many of those same people shy away from the term MLM because they see it as an illegal method of making money. While they say they should not have to pay to do their job, these same people bought their own demonstration kits as well as “prizes” to hand out to those at the parties.

There really is no difference in this type of home-based network marketing than those being offered today. It is the reputation some companies have transferred to legitimate business offers that have formed a negative view that hinders participation and growth. It may only taken a year or two for this negativity to overshadow the benefits of a home-based network marketing program, but it will takes years for legitimate businesses to climb out from the shadow.
When talking to friends about a new network marketing program the wrong approach is often taken. Instead of talking about how you plan to be rich in a few years by working this multilevel marketing program and they should get in on it as well, talk to them about how the product is working for you. In time they will want to sign up if, for no other reason, that being able to buy the product at wholesale.

Why Do Prospects Keep Rejecting Me?

Have you spent year's on the phone with prospects who either rejected you or were too crazy to even be considered working with?

Myself, I didn't get it. I thought if I just kept calling them that sooner or later the RIGHT one's would join with me.

WRONG!!!

Nothing happened until I started finding the right prospects. Don't waste you're time on prospects that are not worth your time, instead spend your time finding the ones who are.

Here's how . . . http://GlobalBizPro.magneticsponsoringonline.com

Why, They Never Bring Up The Revolving Door . . .

You're excited, you just joined a business you feel a strong connection to, you call your sponsor and you're ready to hit the ground running. So, you ask. What should I do first? In most cases what your going to hear from your sponsor is go to “abc leads” and pick up some leads. “Just pick the package that works best for your budget”.

So, here you are new to this business and you’re a real go getter and your going right to the top. You tell yourself, the most lead I can call through the faster my star will rise to the top. You desperately want the lifestyle or the win the free car promotion your company is running. Your thinking to yourself, “all I have to do is just get a few”, and your network marketing dreams will come true.

So with you get the mega lead package. Of course when you tell your sponsor, they praise your and wish you the best of luck. Your sponsor provides you’re with your teams powerful, easy to write script that has a “3% conversion ratio”. You think to yourself, this will be a piece of cake, meanwhile doing the math in your head about your uncollected sign ups and commissions.

You have just taken the bait and are already trapped. That said, let’s continue. With leads in hand you pick up the phone and commit to call at least 25-30 people each day. The first day go a little something like this... 12 disconnections, 10 answering machines, 1 claim’s to have not requested any information and 2 seem to be interested. You so excited that you shared your opportunity to with two callers and directed them to your website and setup follow up calls for the next day.

The very next day you’re optimistic that you’re going to close at once one of the two prospects you spoke with the day before. Today you actually get more folks that actually remember requesting information, 3 more that your share your opportunity with, but you get at least 10 people that blast you out of the water for disrupting their quiet family time with your “pills and potions pushing”. Just a little hurt, you say to yourself that your tough and a few nasty comments are not going to stand in your way.

Be this time, it’s time for your follow-up calls. And guess what? They are a no show. You say that’s OK because you have two more to three more the next day.

Fast forward a month and you've hammered through your leads. You got your script down pat, and have a few more promising follow up calls that never pan out. You say I guess this is a little harder than I thought. You buy your next month of leads and do it all over again with the same results.

Again, you buy another month worth of leads and do it all over again with the same results.By this time you seek advise from your sponsor as to what your doing wrong, he or she gets on the phone with your and a few calls and tells your you’re doing everything right and it’s just a matter of time before get your first sign-up or commission. With the backing and confidant's from your sponsor your get back on your horse and get started on you’re next months worth of leads.

By this time you start to question ask yourself this question? “When I do get someone sponsored are they going to spend over $2,000 to get this opportunity off the ground?

Your mind says . . . "No way!"You start to get suspicious of how all this duplication stuff works, but you keep going. Two months later you're $3000 in the whole and you cut it off. You think to yourself, “Why didn’t it work?”Well, you see it does work, but just not for you as the newbie. And here why... on a larger scale your up line leaders business does grow following this model, because they have 100’s of folks like you and me out there calling thousands of people at our expense, basically to see if we can get someone to sick and start the process all over again.

Based on the laws of large numbers this theory will work. That’s why the people at the top consistently make money checks with commas and the folks on the bottom barely get by or lose.

A recent survey of the largest network marketing companies showed that nearly 45% of total commissions were on average distributed to less than 1% of all reps within the company.

So how do you make sure your business has a chance?

How To Overcome Procrastination

So you've read the books and took the courses and now it's go time... it's go time... go time... I SAID GO!!!!

How to take the first step when challeged with something new and why its so hard to do so...

Who here has ever procrastinated starting something new? I know your out there. I know I am not the only one raising my hand in here. Failure to launch as I call it, is a common problem that most people in our industry face when learning something new.

See if these following scenarios sound familiar:

Mike Dillard's Magnetic Sponsoring book arrives in the mail and you tear it open and read the whole thing and think wow that makes a lot of sense, I should do that! Then you put the book down and turn on the TV and NEVER pick it up again (but you think about it)...

You start reading the the material and think, "That sounds way too complicated!" You feel overwhelmed aaand... Down goes the book, never to be picked up again...

My favorite scenario(and one i'm personally guilty of): read the material, it's genius but... before I can do any of it I need to learn, comprehend, judge, think and master everything before implementing it. Again the book is put away while you go about spinning your wheels into poverty.

I hope you can see the pattern developing here right? YOU have to TAKE ACTION!! God I hate when people tell me the OBVIOUS TRUTH. I am sure you can relate to the scenerios above in some way. I know I suffered from chronic procrastination for years. It wasn't until my "why" got strong enough that I was able to get leverage on myself and start the ball rolling. I remember having a battle in my mind when ever I heard someone tell me "take action"

Well what does "TAKE ACTION" mean and why is it so hard to do? Take Action is defined in the dictionary as: to start doing something. umm.. Duh! START is the key word and taking that first step can be the hardest thing you do in your business. There are a plethora of psychological reasons what cause us to not act but, mostly it's feeling not comfortable. People will avoid anything that is uncomfortable like the plague. In my own experience I had to endure enough pain that I was forced to catapult myself out of my comfort zone. Think about your own situation. What obstacles have you had to over come? How did you over come them?

As a leader in your business how do you help your new people and your stagnated ones get up and running and taking action? The answer hit me just the other day as I was watching a video from Eben Pagan for his gurumaster mind program. He used the phrase, "the speed of implementation" which just rang true to me and I had an a-ha type moment. I realized that successful people strike while the iron is hot, in other words they implement what they learn as they learn it.

What if I could help someone over come procrastination by making it so rediculously easy that it virtually eliminates all discomfort. Take Building on a Budget, I think Mike designs great products that are easy to understand but not everyone can take something read in a book and translate that to ACTION. They need a kick in the rear! So I created a series of camtasia videos, a work book and a check list that basically baby steps my prospects and team members through every step of getting started using Magnetic Sponsoring and Building on a Budget as well as other tools. Its very simple but it has been working really well. (My first videos were rough but they worked)

Take the three examples I used earlier:

The first person is just lazy or doesn't have their "why" clear in their head. You give them a starting point that is super easy to implement; another medium that re-enforces what they just learned and gets them up and running.

The second person is probably intimidated by their computer and is technologically challenged. This person couldn't even begin to understand what a funded proposal is let alone set up a capture page or how to get a domain name registered. Giving them a video to watch that holds their hand the whole way makes it far less intimidating.

As for The third person, they suffer from analysis paralysis. You need to take their mind out of it by givingthem a frame work, a place to start. "Do this first, then this, etc..."

The best thing of all I have been able to gain additional affiliate comissions from the various service providers and tools I recommend. I turn around and show them this complete system and becomes a win win for everyone. Not to mention the affilate commissions earned when they implement your suggested hosting, registrar, tools, etc... Two week's ago I didn't know how to use Camtasia nor had I ever made a internet video but I took ACTION because I genuinely wanted to solve this for myself and my team. Try it, it works.

Exxon & Mobil Oil Companies

I received this email today and thought I would share it. The subject is off the beaten pass of most of my post, but it's interesting stuff.

Let me know what you think.

THIS IS NOT THE 'DON'T BUY' GAS FOR ONE DAY, BUT IT WILL SHOW YOU HOW WE CAN GET GAS BACK DOWN TO $1.30 PER GALLON.

This was sent by a retired Coca Cola executive. It came from one of his engineer buddies who retired from Halliburton. If you are tired of the gas prices going up AND the y will continue to rise this summer, take time to read this please.

Phillip Hollsworth offered this good idea.
This makes MUCH MORE SENSE than the "don't buy gas on a certain day" campaign that was going around last April or May! It's worth your consideration. Join the resistance!!!!

I hear we are going to hit close to $ 4.00 a gallon by next summer and it might go higher!! Want gasoline prices to come down?

We need to take some intelligent, united action. The oil companies just laughed at that because they knew we wouldn't continue to "hurt" ourselves by refusing to buy gas
It was more of an inconvenience to us than it was a problem for them.
BUT, whoever thought of this idea, has come up with a plan that can Really work. Please read on and join with us!

By now you're probably thinking gasoline priced at about $2.00 is super cheap.. Me too! It is currently $3.25 for regular unleaded in my town.

Now that the oil companies and the OPEC nations have conditioned us to think that the cost of a gallon of gas is CHEAP at $1.50 - $1.75, we need to take aggressive action to teach them that BUYERS control the marketplace.. not sellers.

With the price of gasoline going up more each day, we consumers need to take action.

The only way we are going to see the price of gas come down is if we hit
someone in the pocketbook by not purchasing their gas! And, we can do that WITHOUT hurting ourselves.

How? Since we all rely on our cars, we can't just stop buying gas.

But we CAN have an impact on gas prices if we all act together to force a price war.

Here's the idea: For the rest of this year, DON'T purchase ANY gasoline from the two biggest companies (which now are one), EXXON and MOBIL.

If they are not selling any gas, they will be inclined to reduce their prices.. If they reduce their prices, the other companies will have to follow suit.

But to have an impact, we need to reach literally millions of Exxon and Mobil gas buyers. It's really simple to do! Now, don't wimp out on me at this point...keep reading and I'll explain how simple it is to reach millions of people!!

I am sending this note to 30 people. If each of us send it to at least ten more (30 x 10 = 300) ... and those 300 send it to at least ten more (300 x 10 = 3,000)... and so on, by the time the message reaches the sixth group of people, we will have reached over THREE MILLION consumers .
If those three million get excited and pass this on to ten friends each, then 30 million people will have been contacted!

If it goes one level further, you guessed it..... THREE HUNDRED MILLION PEOPLE!!!

Again, all you have to do is send this to 10 people. That's all!

(If you don't understand how we can reach 300 million and all you have to do is send this to 10 people.... Well, let's face it, you just aren't a mathematician. But I am . so trust me on this one.

How long would all that take? If each of us sends this e-mail out to ten more people within one day of receipt, all 300 MILLION people could conceivably be contacted within the next 8 days!!!

I'll bet you didn't think you and I had that much potential, did you!
Acting together we can make a difference.

If this makes sense to you, please pass this message on. I suggest that we not buy from EXXON/MOBIL UNTIL THEY LOWER THEIR PRICES TO THE $2.00 RANGE AND KEEP THEM DOWN. THIS CAN REALLY WORK.

Keep it going

Four Facts Every New Network Marketer Must Know

Success in any internet marketing adventure is not necessarily dependant on the tried and true characteristics that have marred the image of the industry. Pushiness and ruthless networking are actually not the hallmarks of network marketing that its detractors would have you believe they are. Instead, there are facets and aspects to successful MLM that are usually not addressed by those who might only have a cursory understanding of the industry.

As a matter of fact, there are four facts every new network marketer must know.1. Success or failure depends on the product you will be representing. Interestingly, there is no amount of book knowledge that will make up for hands on sales experience that can give you that innate sense of experience which will lead you to the product that is going to be a crowd pleaser for many months or years to come, and the explosively marketed fad that will be around for a holiday season and then thereafter become all but forgotten. While studying market trends and consumer behavior on paper will help, only actual sales experience will provide the familiarity with the way consumers think through purchases that can lead you to choose a MLM product which will be around for the long.2. Never choose a product that is only replaced on a limited basis. As odd as it may sound, stay away from items carrying lifetime guarantees. Consumers love them, but if you consider that the average well made Sears tool will not break no matter how badly you treat it, you can quickly see how there is only a limited amount of repeat business that you will enjoy. In MLM this might refer to exercise equipment or high end merchandise that is too expensive to purchase twice. 3. Pick your MLM Company with care. Forego the hype and instead invest some time in solid research. If the company has been around for a while, you will have a no-nonsense opportunity to chart the beginning of the company and also its growth. Stay away from companies that are in the decline. Similarly, and perhaps this may appear odd, stay away from companies that are experiencing an unprecedented spike of growth. This is just as detrimental to a MLM business as decline because the exiting network rarely is able to compensate for the spike in demand. 4. Last but not least, profit from the experience of the other network marketers. This kind of information may be found online at forums dedicated to marketers who want to share their experiences. Learn from these individuals and understand their reasoning. While they may be incorrect, it pays to understand how they may have made an erroneous decision as this will train you to not follow in their footsteps.

Even as those four facts every new network marketer must know appear to make a lot of common sense, they also showcase that there is a lot more to successful MLM than just selling and setting up a down line. Meticulous planning, learning from the experiences of others, and also continuously educating yourself about market changes and consumer behavior are vital components in the quest for profitability and overall business success.

Just A Touching Dog Story!

While this story has nothing to do with vacationing or building an internet business. What this story is, is just good values and common sense. It show that there is much we can learn from or pets and our children. This story was forwarded to me by a dare friend, so I decide I would share it with the world today.

A Dog's Purpose, (from a 6-year-old)

Being a veterinarian, I had been called to examine a ten-year-old Irish Wolfhound named Belker. The dog's owners, Ron, his wife, Lisa, and their little boy, Shane, were all very attached to Belker, and they were hoping for a miracle.

I examined Belker and found he was dying of cancer. I told the family we couldn't do anything for Belker, and offered to perform the euthanasia procedure for the old dog in their home.

As we made arrangements, Ron and Lisa told me they thought it would be good for six-year-old Shane to observe the procedure. They felt as though Shane might learn something from the experience.

The next day, I felt the familiar catch in my throat as Belker's family surrounded him. Shane seemed so calm, petting the old dog for the last time, that I wondered if he understood what was going on. Within a few minutes, Belker slipped peacefully away.

The little boy seemed to accept Belker's transition without any difficulty or confusion. We sat together for a while after Belker's death, wondering aloud about the sad fact that animal lives are shorter than human lives. Shane, who had been listening quietly, piped up, "I know why."

Startled, we all turned to him. What came out of his mouth next stunned me. I'd never heard a more comforting explanation.

He said, "People are born so that they can learn how to live a good life -- like loving everybody all the time and being nice, right?" The six-year-old continued, "Well, dogs already know how to do that, so they don't have to stay as long."

Live simply.

Love generously.

Care deeply.

Speak kindly.

Remember, if a dog was the teacher you would learn things like:

When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.

Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.

Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy.

Take naps.

Stretch before rising.

Run, romp, and play daily.

Thrive on attention and let people touch you.

Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.

On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass.

On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.

When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body.

Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.

Eat with gusto and enthusiasm. Stop when you have had enough.

Be loyal.

Never pretend to be something you're not.

If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.

When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and nuzzle them gently.

Being always grateful for each new day and for the blessing you have.

ENJOY EVERY MOMENT OF EVERY DAY!

That's what dogs teach us...

Just my thoughts for the day. As always thanks for stopping by.

Feeling Overwhelmed?

By: Bob Keefe

Have you've ever felt like success has been out of your reach because you're completely overwhelmed? I have found that when people struggle to create their first biz it's because they are confused and,

A confused mind does nothing!

That just might be the single most important sentence you'll ever read. I suggest you read it again. In fact, you might want to write it down and tape it to your computer so you see it all the time. One of the biggest problems we face in getting starting is controlling the "overwhelm" of too much info and not having a clear cut game plan that works for you.

I honestly believe that most Guru's think the majority of their subscriber's are just plain lazy because they never get started...I completely disagree 100%, with that, in fact I've observed just the opposite. In fact most people are actually working much harder than they actallly need to!

It's like you are racing at a 100 miles an hour... only to discover that you are stuck going around and around on a race track in never-ending circles instead of going down the road that will take you where you want to go.

Take that same energy and stop running in circles and you'll be shocked how quick and easily you can make your every dream become a reality.

If you feel like you've been too busy "chasing your tail" it's not necessarily your fault. Internet marketing can be a daunting task to the beginner. Running your own home based business is not for the faint at heart. You just need a little clarity, direction and focus and I think you'll find the success you want is actually closer than you imagined.

Remember "a confused mind does nothing?" Take a second and really give that some thought. I'll bet you'll realize that it has shown up in your life more than once. It's all about having a simple and clear cut game plan, broken down in simple step-by-step pieces. Anyone can learn to do anything if the steps are clear and small enough so you can crawl before you are expected to walk or run.

In business I find that people tend to set their first goals on things that are too far away from their current situation and because of that they start out behind the 8-Ball and are completely overwhelmed before they ever get going.

It's essential to get a taste of success as quickly as possible. A SMALL taste is all it takes. Set your sights on one small piece of the puzzle at a time. Complete that one task before even thinking about what's next. The internet is so full of distractions that anyone can lose their focus. Don't let that happen to you!

Focusing on a small obtainable goal that you believe is possible keeps you from getting too overwhelmed. Having a very clear cut blueprint to follow so you can actually get to that small goal fast is very important.

That being said here is my advice to anyone wanting to succeed in internet marketing and/or starting a home based business. first, have your end result clearly defined (this will be done in the goal setting process.) Second, pick one task at a time, outline it and do it. Don't allow distractions to get in the way. Start with something small and atainable and complete it.

This simple series of baby steps, when applied to each step along the way, will get you moving in the right direction and help keep you focused on the light at the end of the tunnel, making money online.

This clip is spectacular. A South American Glacier, the Perito Moreno, breaks up every four years like clock work, give or take a week. There are photographers from the four corners of the earth that come to southern Argentina and literally Camp Out at the glacier site in order to get the actual breakup on film. The individual who got this filming did a marvelous job.

Finding The Right Business Through An MLM Directory

Ok, a few days ago I talked about how to find the right home business business and today I'm going to continue that conversation by introduction the concept of MLM Directories. Whether you are a stay-at-home mom, or dad, retired and looking for something to do and make some extra money on the side, multilevel marketing can offer some interesting occupations that can be done at home in your spare time. Finding the right opportunity can be tricky as there are many scam artists out there that only want your money.

Multilevel marketing is a legitimate business model, sometimes referred to as franchising or affiliate marketing, that allows one person to become associated with a parent company. In order to use the parent company’s name, logo and other identifying information offers the franchise owner to be perceived as a legitimate company. In return, they are paid a commission on sales with different structures established by different companies.

Possibly the best way to find a legitimate multilevel marketing company is through an MLM directory, as once they have been determined to be fraudulent or dishonest in the representation of their business practices, they are removed from the roles of the directory. They may also be listed in another section of the ML directory that points out why they have been removed.

Certainly, some unsavory companies may slip into the list until the truth comes out, but until then they can take advantage of many unsuspecting home workers. Multilevel marketing with a legitimate company can be a great way boost income in your spare time, and which hours you work are not nearly as important as how many. Understand, no multilevel marketing opportunity can promise a large income based on no work and any that do will probably be removed from the MLM directories quickly.

Most MLM directories will list their members in alphabetical order, as well as by industry to give people a better chance of finding an opportunity in which they are interested. If the directory is well-sorted, they may also have a search function allowing visitors to find the opportunities in a given field by entering the type of work they are looking to do from home.

Most listings in an MLM directory will also have basic information about the companies, such as the years they began doing business as a multilevel marketing company and the type of product they or service they offer. The listing usually contains a link to the company’s home website for information about their product, their commission structure and how to become an independent distributor.

Some things the MLM directory may not include is the commission structure, the requirements to become a distributor and whether or not you have to buy the product in order to qualify as a distributor. However, the information in the MLM directory can offer a glimpse into a business and choosing to join is entirely up to you.

When looking through a MLM directory it is important to be objective in your search. You should never make any type of decision based on emotions as quite often they will result in making the wrong decision. If a topic or a product are close to your heart, you may not see some of the warning signs and end up part of a company in which you do not want to belong. Base any decisions on a business on facts.

Finding The Right Home Based Business May Require Research

There are numerous people that have the desire to start their own home business and many have the talent to make it work. But what they lack is the right idea that will work for them while they work at home. They may be too busy thinking about the prospect of working at home without giving a lot of thought as to what they want to do.

If you go online and search for home business ideas you will find a lot of people offering to send you ideas, for a price. Not to say that all of them are not totally honest about what you buy, but most of the ideas they are offering can be found on your own for free. What you will be paying for is a list of companies they have compiled as a result of their own search, some of while may no longer be valid.

Basically, how you search will also help determine the type of results you get back. If you search for home based business, for instance you will likely be inundated with opportunities in the multilevel marketing industry. Some of those offers may even be legitimate, but if selling products and recruiting for another company is not your idea of a home business, you will want to keep searching.

The best advice is to leave the words home based business and work at home out of your search criteria. If you are an accountant, simply look for accounting and then seek out companies that offer telecommuting. Instead of focusing on the home business aspect you should focus on what the job is you will be doing at home. This can lead to quality leads to pursue in seeking a home-based business opportunity. You may even want to check with some of your personal contacts or others in a similar business to find out what the market is like for your skills.

While competitors may not be willing to share their customers, or a lot of information, if you contact potential customers to determine how their wait is to see their current accountant, it may be an indication that business is really good and there may be enough business for another one in the same town.

However, most people looking for a home-based business are wanting to cash in on the internet business opportunities where the entire globe can be the market. Sales of a quality product or service at a reasonable cost is always sought on the internet and many companies offer drop-ship services allowing you to sell the product and the company will process all the orders, handle billing and shipping and send you the profit.

But, there are some companies out there that are different, if you want to learn the Truth be sure to pick "It's Only Easy If You Know The Truth... Exposing The Lies, Myths And Hype To Help You Finally Succeed Online!"

One of the challenges with many of these companies is the initial price of the merchandise and the shipping costs, leaving you with a minimal profit margin. You would have to be aware of the hot products of the day, the trends that indicate future hot markets and get them out for sale at the start of the fad. By staying on top of this business and dealing with a reputable warehouse, you can quickly build and grow your business.

Hopefully, this provides some direction...
